NTPC Gadarwara celebrated International Women’s Day 2022 with committee members of Avni Mahila Mandal, the ladies club of NTPC Gadarwara and lady employees.

CGM Gadarwara, Shri Pradipta Kumar Mishra, complimented the women on the occasion and thanked those present for being a strong pillar of the community. He advised the women to come out and be proud of their originality, as well as to share their viewpoints with the rest of the world with conviction. In order to establish a gender equal society, he also advised women to raise their girls to be strong and sons to be sensitive.

An experience sharing interactive session was done by NTPC employees where the women employees and the members of the ladies club shared experiences at NTPC, and in life and motivated all the female employees present on the occasion.

In the program, the women were felicitated with a memento by CGM Gadarwara, Shri RB Malik, GM (Project), Shri BB Narare GM (O&M) and other senior members of NTPC Gadarwara.

On the occasion, members of the ladies club & lady employees were also present.

In addition to this program, the women employees of NTPC Gadarwara attended the 3rd Edition of " NTPC Women Leadership Conclave" in which women leaders of national acclaim from various walks of life (e.g. - Defense Forces, Corporate, Art, Academics) had been invited to share their journey, converse with participants and inspire them through their talks.
